Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture,with a history of 30 years,has a stuff of excellent masters,which contributes to a large number of professionals in traditional Chinese culture research and the formation of the unique teaching management and the theories and approaches of traditional Chinese culture.Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture is a successful example of the transformation from traditional academy to modern education,and it has achieved a good combination of the two.Therefore,there are also traces of teaching methods in traditional academy in its traditional Chinese culture teaching.The traces were deeply integrated into its traditional Chinese culture teaching even after its transformation in 1927.This thesis is divided into three parts:The first part briefly describes the development of Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture,from the initial establishment to the transformation.It also expounds its history,from the remove in the Anti-Japanese War to its reestablishment after the war.Based on the review of its education course,it explains the particularity of the teaching purpose and teaching mode of Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture.The second part focuses on the curriculum setup and teaching content of Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture,and then analyzes its teaching methods and achievements.The third part generalizes the teaching characteristics in Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture,and then expounds the enlightenment to modern education teaching from two aspects:the teaching purpose and the teaching methods of Wuxi Academy for Traditional Chinese Culture.
