Basketball teaching is an important part of the sports optional module teaching in senior high school.It is also a sport that high school students are interested in.Teachers usually use traditional teaching methods,mainly for teaching and imitating students.Teachers also correct mistakes,teach and demonstrate,and students do exercises again.In the sports teaching process after 1980 s,imagery training has become a sport practice widely used psychological training method,mainly used in basketball,gymnastics,skiing,jump,hurdles action more complex projects,many research results show that the table like training in sports technology,learning motivation,and motivation to overcome psychological barriers have achieved good results of adaptability.However,the specific imagery training is applied to the study of high school basketball teaching is still relatively limited,in basketball,most studies have focused on the professional basketball team training and competition,colleges and universities teaching.This has nothing to do with high school teachers who are not in the habit of trying and innovating new ways of teaching.The above problems based on,it is necessary to try to use imagery training to the high school basketball technique teaching,and strive to achieve the improvement of teaching methods,improve teaching quality,so as to further improve the students to master basketball technical efficiency,improve the technical level of basketball.In the process of physical education,there is no specific standard for the application of imagery training.It is less limited by time,equipment and space,and it is relatively easy to operate.This article from the practical application of imagery training in Physical Education in high school to start,the study selected to shooting and moving hand chest pass the ball as the representative,from the perspective of imagery training advantage,combine it with the basketball technique teaching activities,to achieve more teaching mode.The object of this study is the application of imagery training in Basketball Teaching in high school basketball class.A randomly selected one class as the experimental object,called the experimental class,the proper use of imagery training teaching method in basketball skill teaching,another class is called control class,traditional teaching methods.In this paper,literature,experimental methods,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and other research methods.Through 32 hours of teaching experiment on the statistical analysis of the data of the experimental group and control group,draws the following conclusion: the imagery training method has obvious improvement to enhance the chest pass the ball to the students;the two groups of students,after a semester’s teaching practice,two kinds of teaching methods can improve students’ scores in basketball;basketball talented students,mental training method has obvious improvement to enhance students’ chest pass the ball and shooting skills,while basketball students can better grasp the mental imagery training skill training way.
