In recent years,with the improvement of the attention of positive psychology,gratitude has also been widely concerned by scholars as a hot point in positive psychology.This study from the perspective of positive psychology,based on the related theories of gratitude as the basis,combined with practical experience in design of group counseling activities Thanksgiving counseling program for college students,through group counseling activities in the form of full-time college students in gratitude group counseling to analysis and discussion of gratitude intervention activities in the actual application of the college students in the level of gratitude and subjective well-being promotion effect.Study one conducted a survey of students from various colleges and universities in Shijiazhuang,using "The Gratitude Measurements for College Students" revised by Ma Yunxian and Xiu Yan(2004)and "The Overall Well-being Scale" revised by Duan Jianhua(1996),to discuss the status of gratitude?the subjective well-being and the relationship between them.Study two based on the findings of Study 1,combined with relevant theories of group counseling and related theories of gratitude,compiled two groups of counseling programs aimed to improving college students' gratitude.They are general gratitude group counseling activities and thanksgiving group counseling activities that incorporate the elements of “filial piety and respect for teachers”.The use of two group counseling activities with slightly different content aimed to conduct intervention research on college students to examine the effects of intervention activities on gratitude and subjective well-being.The study found that:(1)There is a positive correlation between the span,density,frequency,and total score of gratitude among the full-time undergraduates and their subjective well-being.(2)General Thanksgiving counseling activities can improve the level of College Students' gratitude can improve the level of College Students' gratitude and subjectivewell-being;Filial to our parents and respect teacher local cultural elements in the gratitude group counseling can significantly improve the level of College Students' gratitude and subjective well-being of College students.The above research results show that increasing respect for the localization of“Filial to our parents and respect teacher” elements gratitude group counseling activities compared to ordinary gratitude group counseling activities,it can significantly improve the level of gratitude and happiness of College students.
