Gratitude education is a part of moral education in junior high school, it also playsan important role in spiritual civilization construction. The lack of gratitude not onlyaffect the life attitude and moral cultivation of junior middle school students but alsohinder the also hinder the progress of society in the long run will.So understand thepsychological gratitude and gratitude status of junior middle school students, givesproper countermeasures and suggestions is a great significance for the personalityperfection of junior high school students and harmonious society construction.Based on the literature review, interview, questionnaire investigation, etc.,formulate a Psychological Gratitude Questionnaires of Junior Middle School Students.Using <Quality Scale of Junior High School Students Gratitude>investigate into4Chongqing middle schools, design a set of gratitude group counseling program aimedpromote the level of gratitude in junior middle school students, and prove its validitythrough experimental study. In general, get the following conclusion:(1)Psychological Gratitude Questionnaires of Junior Middle School Students hasfour dimensions, they are giver characteristics, event attributes, evaluation, experienceof recipient,self–edit questionnaire has good reliability and validity.(2)Junior high school students in psychological gratitude on the four dimensions ofscores, from high to low respectively is aid-giver features,3.94points, event attributes3.24, the experience of recipient,2.60points, the evaluation,2.51points.(3) Junior Middle School Students in Chongqing has a high gratitude level, thescore in gratitude cognitive, parents, others, nature also in high level.(4) There is no significant difference in the gender, only child; but there weresignificant differences in class cadre, place, parents’ cultural degree.(5)Junior high school students generally repay their parents with consideration, dohousehold chores, and good score; repay to teacher with polite and observe discipline;More than50%of the students can help each other; most students can do a certaindegree of the love and cherish to gift of nature.(6) Group counseling can improve the level of gratitude, not only in the presenceof the instant effect of guidance, but also the effect of continuous guidance.(7) Members of the experimental group on low level gratitude change is mainlyreflected in three aspects: gratitude cognitive, members can hold positive meaning ofgratitude; in willing, member understand the resolve to return favors; in behavior,member gratitude level has improved.(8) Group counseling on improving gratitude level of therapeutic factors are:atmosphere and skills,“common-growth theory”, as well as cognitive. affection actionunity. Among them, correct cognitive, causing gratitude motivation and promotegratitude action is the mechanism in group counseling.
