With the continuous improvement on the history curriculum reform to the middle school students’ reading ability and the sense of historical evidence,the status of historical materials in the history teaching of senior high school has been strengthened.The current high school history classroom has formed the "no historical data without teaching" the characteristics of the times.However,with the continuous improvement of the teaching of historical materials in the theoretical and practical level,many problems faced by the teaching of historical materials.One of the most important problems is that due to the limitations of teachers’ professional ability and vision,the selection of historical materials in the process of teaching is very narrow,and is often limited to some commonly used historical documents.as one of the important historical materials,the oral historical materials has not been paid much attention for a long time.Especially since the birth of modern oral history in 1940s,oral history has become an important branch of history after decades of development.The research method of oral history has become an important historical research method.As the primary product of oral thistory,the oral historical materials of modern significance has been greatly enriched and developed.These forms of diversity,and has a strong story and individual oral historical materials has important significance to stimulate students interest in learning history,cultivate students’ positive historical consciousness,improve the students’ ability of thinking in history,it should cause the attention of high school history teachers.In this paper,I will use the method of literature research and case study,combing the concept of oral history and oral historical materials and the classification and characteristics of oral historical materials.And then I will combine specific case study the significance and value of oral historical materials in high school history teaching.At the same time,I will put forward the principles and strategies of oral historical materials applied in the history teaching of senior high school.This study hopes to provide some inspiration for the senior high school history teachers to understand and use the oral historical materials,but also to provide an angle for the prosperity and improvement of the teaching of historical materials.
