This paper focuses on the professional development of ideological and political teachers,the basic research ideas are as follows: Teachers’ professional development,an integrated and continuous growing process of pre-occupational cultivation,new teacher induction and post occupational training is an inevitable transformation process of the teachers from "novice" to "proficient",and finally to "expert".In actual education and teaching practice,due to the important position,teachers’ professional development has obtained much attention.Especially the novice teachers,that’s because they are the new forces and the fresh blood of teachers.With the comprehensive promotion of quality education and reform of the new curriculum,teachers’ professional development became a hot issue.This not only puts forward new and higher requirements for teachers’ professional development,which highlights the importance of teachers’ professional level,but also provides a brand new platform and opportunity for novice teachers.In the promotion of basic education reform,the normal colleges gradually established a series of new courses,such as "Curriculum and pedagogical theories ","teaching design and case analysis" et etc.After students studied these courses,they want to put them into practice.However,when they finally go into school and faces real students,as "a novice teacher" they often have such a feeling of role ambiguity and powerlessness.In view of what mentioned above,in the guidance of the new curriculum concept,taking the novice ideological and political teachers in high school as the research object and through the literature research,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the teachers’ professional development direction and content of novice ideological and political teachers.This thesis also explores the path and strategy to promote the development of novice ideological and political teachers from outside to inside by understanding the status,problems and causes of novice ideological and political teachers’ professional development through questionnaire and interview method,and thus to benefit the professional development of novice ideological and political teachers.
