The development of information technology has great impact on human beings,of which has enormously triggered the reform of education.The application of information technology has changed the traditional way of teaching.It promotes the fairness by sharing high quality education resources and reduces the imbalances between urban and rural areas.It also provides teachers with unlimited education resources hence driving them to improve teaching skills.“One Good Lesson per Teacher,One Outstanding Teacher per Lesson”(OGLPT)is one of the education activities commissioned by the application of information technology.The objective of this activity is to encourage teachers to conduct at least one good lesson by applying proper information technologies,and among all these teachers,we have minimum one outstanding teacher per lesson.Teachers are to improve the quality of classes,lessons by involving recent technologies.Teachers across the nation are expected to build up and share high quality resources of fundamental education,to develop and improve professions via this activity platform and hence create a study and development community.After Chengdu becoming one of the first experimental cities of OGLPT approved by Department of Education,it has obtained great progress.OGLPT has improved the capability and ability of teachers in Chengdu to conduct classes with information technologies.However,at the same time,problems are exposed during the activity.In order to better proceed OGLPT,it is very necessary to conduct researches,to analyze the current status,to provide reasonable suggestions,to construct a quality pool of education resources and thus to drive the development of teaching and information technology for education purposes.This paper outlines the progresses and issues of OGLPT in Chengdu by analyzing relative documents,depth interviews,data statistics with logical thinking,and summarizing past experiences.The current issues of OGLPT are found throughcollecting data from a number of districts,country schools,education activity cases,conducting surveys,talking to activity management teams,teachers and judges,by analyzing activity management,teachers’ attendances and the applied technologies.In addition to that,this article provides directions and suggestions in the following aspects such as activity management,encouragement,connection,technology set-up,activity procedures and resource applications.Some changes shall be prioritized,such as to push the organization and progression of OGLPT activity,to improve multiple skills for all involving staff,to extend the application of resources.It is suggested as a priority to improve the connection,activity flow path and resource application.
