Political socialization is a process of interaction among multi-agents,including Individual, political party, government, family, school, media, network, community and peer group, which directly or indirectly influences the national life. The political socialization of minority youth is also an important part of national stability and prosperity. From the perspective of mutual construction theory, this paper aims to explore the influence of school and media on the national identity and party identity of minority middle school students.Furthermore, this study discussed the role of the identity to their own ethnicity had played in this process. It is assumed that the mainstream political socialization institutions, such as schools, media and so on,play an important role in promoting individual political identity, and the identity of Mongolian middle school students to their own kind has a regulating effect on this construction.Ethnic identity includes the relative rational exploration of identity and relative emotional commitment to identity. The former plays a role in promoting, the latter plays a role in weakening. This paper(issued 1000 questionnaires to Mongolian middle school students in Tongliao and several banners of Inner Mongolia Province, acquired 987 effective questionnaires)used the quantitative questionnaires and SPSS18.0 to get and analysis the datas. The results show that the school has a significant impact on the individual’s political identity(explaining 9%-17%).It shows that the political concern of teachers and school activities can effectively promote the national emotion and political party identity of Mongolian middle school students. The role of Chinese language teachers is particularly prominent. However, school has negative impacts : for instance, the teacher in charge of a class reduce the political party identity. The patriotic speech, the study leader speech and other activities can promote emotional identity and constructive identity. The media factors have a significant impact on the individual political identity(explaining 5%-17%),and the frequency of the use of mainstream media would promote national emotion and party identity, which would reduce the national sense of pride. However, this is inconsistent with the hypothesis. This research also found that the type of media will have a significant role in political identity: the students who listen to the radio, read newspaper and follow Sohu News have the higher political identities, who always browse QQ zone and Wechat moments have the lower political identities. The regulating effect is significant, but the effect of the exploration of identity and commitment to identity isn’t absolute. The former didn’t just play a role in promoting, the latter just a role in weakening. The exploration and commitment of identity can effectively promote the positive influence of the school and the media on the political identity of Mongolian middle school students, but also can play a buffer role in the negative impact. However, the commitment of identity still shows its limits.
