Social work has experienced rapid development in our country,such as the strong support of national government policies,professional training of college professionals,the establishment of social work institutions all over the country.But there are also a lot of problems.For instance,the society degree of recognizing about social workers is low,and many people question the professionalism of social workers.The lack of institutional management and the outflow of talent are also problems that we are confronted with.Social workers of juvenile affairs are facing the same problems.Adolescents are the new forces of our country,and the support of social workers are required to help them get out of dilemmas.But if the social workers of juvenile affairs suffer from job burnout themselves,it is hard for them to provide better service for teenagers.Accordingly,I make this research to analyze the job burnout of juvenile affairs' social workers,in order to find out the causes of burnout and make reasonable countermeasures to change that.In this study,I used mixed research methods,and collected data by questionnaires and interviews.According to the data,nearly one-third of the respondents who are engaged in juvenile affairs were troubled by job burnout,and specific performances including feeling exhausted,unable to find motivation to work,giving the cold shoulder to clients,and lacking the sense of achievement.There are five conclusions of this research:(1)Many social workers of juvenile affairs are suffering from job burnout.(2)The degree of Job burnout is significantly different,which is influenced by gender and years on the job.(3)The degree of job burnout is also connected with personality traits,self-efficiency,working pressure,and social support.(4)Self-efficiency,working pressure and social support are the influencing factors of job burnout in adolescent social work.(5)After analyzing the data collected from questionnaires and interviews,there are mainly four factors that influence job burnout,which are service object and professionalism,institutional arrangement,social economy,and difficulty of work.According to this research,I proposed some reasonable suggestions to solve job burnout problems:(1)We need to improve the supportive environment.(2)It is necessary to enhance the community's recognition and acceptance to juvenile affairs social workers.(3)It is essential to improve the salary system.(4)The reasonable arrangement for work contents is important.(5)Social workers should also improve their professional competencies,etc.In conclusion,it is necessary to ease the job burnout of juvenile affairs social workers.With less job burnout,social workers can provide better service to teenagers,help them solve problems and promote ability.Generally,easing social workers' job burnout is essential for the development of teenagers' services in our country.
