Research purposesIn recent years,with the deepening of the research,it has been gradually recognized that aerobic energy metabolism has a large proportion in the 400 meter training program and aerobic training in the 400 meter training program is an important component.But,most of the coaches did not pay much attention to the training of aerobic ability during the training and the training methods are obsolete in China.There are few reports on the application of LOHI training in the 400 meter training session.Thus,the purpose of this study was to train the women's 400 meter athletes through the intermittent hypoxic training during winter training,to investigate the effectiveness and feasibility of low maintenance training for 400 meter female athletes,and to provide scientific basis for the actual training of athletes in the next 400 meters.Research methodsThe study lasted for 6 weeks with LOHI training for five 400 meter female athletes,6 days per week(8 lessons)among them,hypoxia indoor training for the 2 class,every time 2h,the simulated indoor altitude is 2800-3400 meters.The rest of the training was planned in plain conditions.In the course of hypoxia training,biochemical indexes,including RBC,HB,HCT,BUN,CK and T were used to monitor the physical function of the participants every week.Physiological indexes,including maximal oxygen uptake(VO2max)and blood lactic acid(BLA)were used to evaluate the aerobic ability of participants before and after hypoxic training.The sports performance indexes of30 m,60m,100 m,300m,400 m,2000m,bench press,squat and three class standing long jump were used to assessed the special quality of participants by stage test.The training methods were also monitored by 200 meter and 400 meter intermittent training.Through the above indicators,the effects of 6 weeks low living and high training on physical performance and exercise ability of athletes were analyzed.Research resultAfter 6 weeks of intermittent LOHI training,no significant changes were observed in all biochemical parameters,but they are within the normal range.After 6 weeks of intermittent LOHI training,the maximum oxygen uptake of athletes was increased slightly,but no significant difference occurred.The test results of special quality index shown that the test scores of 30,60 and 100 meters were significantly improved(P <0.05),no significant changes were found in 300 and 400 meters,the results of 2000 meters had little increase,but there is no significant difference,the test results of standing three jump had been greatly improved.The capacity of intermittent training with 200 meters and 400 meters was significantly improved(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).Conclusions1.After 6 weeks of intermittent LOHI training,30 meters,60 meters,100 meters and other special quality improved significantly,and the biochemical parameters such as red blood cell parameters maintained steady state in normal range.It is suggested that LOHI training can be used as an auxiliary training means for women athletes of 400 meters.2.Two times per week for 6 weeks of intermittent LOHI training did not effectively improved the athlete's aerobic ability.Therefore,the application of low living and high training in aerobic training in the 400 meter program needs further study.
