Considering the characteristics of the new era,this paper believes that the reform of Ideological and Moral Course in junior high school should encourage the students of junior high school to grow healthily with poetic feelings like looking up at the starry sky.The concept and characteristics as well as quintessence of poetry teaching for this course were analyzed in this paper.The poetic teaching here is to show the teaching content to students by the form of poetic teaching and to lead the students to feel when they are having poetic dialogues with their teachers,some texts and their lives under the premise of creating poetic aesthetic environments,so that students can continually improve their thinking and soul.The purpose of education is to not only enable students to have a large number of certain knowledge,but let them master the meaning and value behind the knowledge through the pursuit of certain knowledge and inspire students to continually explore the knowledge in their lives,so as to improve personal consciousness as well as one's love to life and feel the beauty of life.In the process,one's wisdom is formed and the happiness in the process of growing up was profoundly experienced.Therefore,the application of poetic teaching is the need of improving the quality of Ideological and Moral Course in junior high school,promoting the diversity of Ideological and Moral teaching methods,achieving the humanistic education concept and meeting the needs of junior high school students.The application of the poetic teaching in junior high school is in accordance with the core idea of the new curriculum reform in China.It is of great significance to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching,cultivate students' noble feelings and cultivate the students' poetic personality.The application of poetic teaching was studied from the following aspects:First,the concept and characteristics as well as quintessence of poetic teaching were studied and analyzed.Second,the necessity and significance of the poetic teaching in Ideological and Moral Course in junior high school was explored deeply.Third,the application of poetic teaching in ideological and moral course of Junior High School were systematically analyzed.Finally,the problems existed in the application of poetic teaching in Ideological and Moral Course in junior high school were discussed from the aspects of teachers,students,society and family,teaching conditions and corresponding strategies from five aspects as teaching environment,teaching content,teaching language,teaching process and teachers themselves were put forward.
