Preschool period is both critical and special for the physical and mental development of one's whole life.As an integral part of liberal arts education,preschool dance is regarded as an effective way to promote children's physical and mental development,improve their personality,stimulate students' interest in learning dance,students acute hearing,coordinated rhythm and enhance their creativity.Dance teaching activities are the important part of kindergarten education.However,affected by factors of different aspects,the dance teaching activities in kindergarten education have fallen to a weak point which should be paid more attentions to and have not found effective breakthrough point.Traditional dance teaching activities in kindergarten can't help making kindergarten and teachers feel disappointed.Rudolph von Laban,a Hungarian dance professional known as the “Father of Modern Dance Theory,” proposed a theory of “Educational Dance” in as early as 1940 s.This is a new kind of dance education different from the classical ballet which was the only dance education emphasizing technique at that time,the modern dance education focusing on the rhythm began boarded on the stage of history.Now “Educational dance”takes one kind of new chance and a glimmer of hope to the change and the development of dance teaching activities in kindergarten.“Creative Dance” as a tool,focuses on cultivating children's creativity and aims at developing their comprehensive qualities,thus setting up a good example for our Chinese preschool dance teachers to follow.We should value the research and construction of preschool dance education,and recognize “ Educational Dance” value,which can not only help children enjoy dancing with joy and relaxation,cultivate imagination and creativity,but also change our concept of preschool dancing education,jump out of traditional ways,and breed great children in future.This research intends to stand at the point of theoretical essentials of Rudolph von Laban start from preschool dance activities,adopt research approach and walk along the circulative research route of “theory-design-action-retrospection-again action” to put forward “ought to be” state.Then,through research,this research uses practice to argue the feasibility and availability of this form of activity.Through the analysis of firsthandmaterials collected in the process of research,this paper discusses and evaluates results of this research,makes conclusion of this research according to the results of discussion and evaluation,and presents effective advices for better develop the research on the theory of Rudolph von Laban's “Educational Dance” to preschool dance education.This research paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is sketch of research,which introduces the theoretical background of this research,including contents of research objectives,research meanings,research summary,definitions of core concepts and research methods.The second chapter is analysis of connotation on the theory of Rudolph von Laban's “Educational Dance” to preschool dance education.The third chapter introduces scheme of this action research,including contents of materials of research background,conception and design of research,reliability and validity of research.The forth chapter is the key on of this research paper.Through introducing the progress of three phases of this research,this chapter reappears the process of concrete practice of this research.And the last chapter makes conclusion of this research according to the carrying out and finish of this research.In this chapter,for better developing this kind of dance education activities in the future,the researcher gives relative suggestions from preschool dance education and teachers for reference.
