Classroom Efficiency has been a research focus in recent years.Although many experts and industry insiders have a wide range of discussions of classroom effectiveness and efficiency,the systematic studies for these aspects,especially the classroom efficiency of middle schools in rural areas,is not enough yet.Physics has its certain particularity,as it has higher requirements for practical ability,logical ability and arithmetic ability.Students generally reflect Physics is difficult for them while many teachers reflect the Classroom Efficiency of Physics is rather low.The purpose of this study is about how to improve the Classroom Efficiency of Physics in rural middle schools.This paper investigates the factors that affect Classroom Efficiency of Physics in a rural middle school—Qiaotouhe Junior Middle School through questionnaires and random interviews.The main points are as follows: First,the teaching methods;second,the order of classroom;third,the students' previews for class;fourth,the difficulty of course content;fifth,the experimental demonstration;Six,group discussion(or not);seven,teachers' teaching style;ninth,classroom atmosphere.In terms of teaching methods,teachers tend to use modern teaching methods to improve teaching efficiency.Yet this way of teaching is often constrained by the teachers' information literacy.As for the previews for class,teachers still feel that previews for new lessons can improve the quality of teaching.However,there are no obvious differences among good students.In students' favorite experimental class,physical demonstration has much higher Classroom Efficiency than blackboard display.Teachers believe that group discussion is highly efficient,but there is also a risk of controlling time and content well.When is comes to how teaching style has impact on teaching,both teachers and students maintain that humorous teaching style will bring higher teaching efficiency.The author puts forward several concrete teaching schemes according to the above nine factors,and obtains the comparison results.The inquiry of Physics classroom in rural junior middle school has achieved preliminary results,which further confirms the feasibility of improving Classroom Efficiency from the factors mentioned above.
