| Since the rise of the research on the classroom environment, domestic and foreign researchers have developed many effective instruments which provides scientific research means for the quantitative research on classroom environment. But the measured object in different countries have different cultural backgrounds, they can’t understand the literal meaning and the content of the items. Thus it is necessary to make the instruments have feature of the the subject and nation. According to the theory of constructivism, The Middle School Physics Constructivist Classroom Environment Survey was developed on the basis of previous studies. In this study, the construction of the survey mainly experienced three parts. Frist, according to the theory of constructivism and the feature of the middle school physics classroom learning, the original version of The Middle School Physics Constructivist Classroom Environment Survey, including 5 scales and 26 items, was established on the basis of the Constructivist Learning Environment Survey (CLES) by Fraser and P.C.Taylor et al and other related questionnaires. Second, this study used the Delphy method. According to the evaluation data and the amendment opinions of the experts, the original version was revised and developed in order to make it have the expert validity. Third, the revised version was used to measure the sample. The study used SPSS19.0 and AMOS21.0 to analyze the data to test the reliability and validity of the The Middle School Physics Constructivist Classroom Environment Survey. The result showed that, after two-round consultation of experts’ opinion, the experts’evaluation was highly concentrated and they indentfied the necessity of all the items. Thus the final version had good expert validity. Statistical analysis was performed by collecting the data of questionnaires, This study found that the Cronbach alpha coefficient of reliability and construct reliability were at a high level, which indicated that the final version had a good internal consistency. Through confirmatory factor analysis, results showed that the final version had good convergent validity and discriminant validity. The goodness of fit index of this five-factor model was quite good. The final version of The Middle School Physics Constructivist Classroom Environmient Survey with good structure and internal consistency includes 5 scales and 21 items. The construction process was relatively complete and basically met the requirements of Surveying. |
