Social Work Practice To Promote Residents Participation

Residents participation is an inexhaustible motivation for the development of the community.However,existing studies show that the current level of residents participation is generally low,and social work has embeded in many aspects of society as a new way of residents participation.Therefore,the author hopes this paper will help to accumulate the practical experience of social work under the circumstances promoting residents participation,by doing the analysis and summary of the content of the M project of the lost only family.During the internship period,the author participated in the M project of the lost only family directly and indirectly through the participatory project research method.In the process of project implementation,the author and other social workers used the method of case work,homogeneous group activities and community work to promote the participation of residents.At the same time,the author took the logical process of assessment,planning,intervention,and termination,and discussed the intervention strategy,the intervention process,the summary and reflection of the intervention results.With the implementation of the project,the interaction of social workers and residents continue in-depth and extensive,the residents grew acquainted with social workers,residents participation rate has from 30% soar to 90%.In the study,the author thinks that the way to participate as a scarce resource,still powerful restricts to shackled by residents participation;and with logical and professional roles characteristics of the social work service has increasingly become a new way to realize the participation of residents,residents' participation in quality improvement,enhance the participation of residents.Through the analysis and summary of the project practice,it is found that the quality of residents' participation is mainly affected by process factors,and the way of residents' participation is mainly affected by social factors.So in the future to promote residents participation in the social work practice,macro level,advocate the government and the social public have long-term expectations for the residents of participation,and in the implementation of the support system to social work;the median level,social work agencies and the government should continue to optimize the social service project design and arrangement,increase social work more to community "exposure",to establish the social public image,and strive to become persistent residents participate in the new way;the micro level,social workers is actor of the residents of participation should continue to improve professional ability,improve the quality of residents' Participation.
