Study On The Cultivation Of Positive Emotions In College Students' Ideological And Political Education

The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party has been working continuously on improving college students' ideological and political qualities and mental healthy level as an important part of our educational strength since the Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China.In the course of social transformation,college education in ideology and politics has been confronted with unprecedented challenges.How to enhance mental health education among college students and boost positive emotions of educators and the educated,thus raising effectiveness of college students' ideological and political education has become a key question at present.With the rise of the 21 st western positive psychology,positive emotion has already penetrated into every field of education.As a kind of social activity,college students' ideological and political education must be built on the basis of psychological harmony,especially motivating college students' positive emotions in ideological and political study.Nowadays cultivation of positive emotions in ideological and political education tend to be a weak link Therefore,it can be seen in the article that theories of ideological and political education and research results of positive psychology are used as the starting point and reference.This paper,which integrates college students' ideological and political education with positive emotions,explores how to cultivate positive emotions in education of ideology and politics with a unique perspective of positive emotions so as to raise students' concern and interest in college curricula of ideological and political education and promote ideological and political education efficiency.Based on literatures at home and abroad,this paper gives connotation of positive emotions in education of ideology and politics,and discusses the necessity and feasibility of cultivating positive emotions in the process of ideological and political education.Through questionnaires of 1032 college students in two universities in XX Province,the essay makes a preliminary probe into the status quote of students' positive emotions of college education in ideology and politics.The thesis finds out that cultivating positive emotions is very essential in the ideological and political education process among college students,especially those from rural areas in the course of cultivating positive emotions.On the basis of theoretical and empirical research,the paper concludes that raising the Emotional positive rate of educational subjects,extending the platform of positive ideas and creating active atmosphere are effective ways to cultivate positive emotions in college students' ideological and political education.
