Language learning is a complex process,which is mainly manifested by language learning behavior.This article took the students' Chinese learning behavior of Gabriela Mistral high school as an example.According to the methods of questionnaires and then observations and interviews,the study analyzed the characteristics of their learning motivation,learning attitude,learning behavior and the educational level of their guardians.It mainly discussed their impacts on classroom discipline.At last,the author proposed how we could improve the Chinese language teaching of secondary school in Chile.Divided into six chapters,the first chapter of this thesis mainly introduced the background,the purpose and the significance of the research.It also defined the definition of learning behavior and summarized the related research.The second chapter took the psychological theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the learning theory of behaviorism as the theoretical basis of this study.The third chapter described the overview of the Chinese language teaching of secondary school in Chile.It introduced the geographical environment and current Chinese teaching situation of GM high school,too.The fourth chapter made a statement about the design of the questionnaires,observations and interviews and the author analyzed the data from the survey in this part.The fifth chapter put forward different solutions to solve the problems by perspectives of the school and the government.The sixth chapter summed up the main results,including the unclear learning motivation of the students,the impact of grade difference on their learning attitude,the chart of learning behavioral frequency,the leaderboard of negative learning behavior in class and so on.At last,this chapter also listed several shortcomings of the study.
