Study On Expansive Curriculum Development Of Mathematics Based On Humanistic Orientation

Though Curriculum reform document calls on that the front line teachers autonomously develop expansive curriculum based on the school actual situation,expansive curriculum development is in the primary research and we lack implementation program and reference sample for the time being.The front line teachers have no much experience for expansive curriculum development at present.In the meantime,expansive curriculum of mathematics based on Olympian math problems are usually difficult and which cannot arouse pupils' interest effectively.Given this,I focus my research topic on expansive curriculum development of mathematics based on humanistic orientation,make a study of what is expansive curriculum of mathematics,the main expression of humanism values in mathematical education,how to develop expansive curriculum of mathematics.In response to these issues,this article makes a clear definition and explanation of humanistic orientation,expansive curriculum of mathematics and its relation with school-based curriculum.And it makes a summary of three aspects values of humanism in mathematical education.Analysis frame is established on these basis and then development principles and procedures are extracted.According to these principles and procedures,I try to develop three expansive courses of mathematics only for reference.Three course syllabuses which involve the nature of curriculum,goals,content and class hour arrangement,course implement and evaluation suggestions are systematic and integrated.Listening to math story,which main content are the stories of Chinese and foreign mathematicians and the joy of mathematics,is designed to understand the moving deeds of mathematicians,get into their noble spirit in stories and feel the wisdom in the joy of mathematics.Watching the mathematics film and television play,which main content are cartoons and films about some mathematicians' life and math principles,is designed to grasp the emotion and qualities with mathematical elements,find the values and applications of math principles and enjoy a particular beauty.Playing with math games and magics,which main content are math games and magics,is designed to comprehend the secrets of math and develop students' interest.Some reflection and recommendations and prospects are presented at the end.
