According to the full-time general curriculum plan experimental revised edition issued by National Education Commission in January,2000,the explorative learning curriculum of general senior students which shows that explorative learning curriculum is the one which makes the development of innovative spirit and practical ability as basic purpose, scientific research as basic content, students, self-study and explorative learning as basic studying ways. Explorative learning curriculum is a kind of curriculum with a characteristic of being opening ,comprehensive , probative , autonomous, imperceptible, etc.Due to knowledge economy , s coming and overall development of our society, there are a lot of disadvantages in our traditional curriculum system, which is difficult to meet needs of students active development in the future society. Therefore, it is necessary to develop research explorative learning curriculum in order to implement the undergoing quality education with morality education as the core and the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability as the centrality. However, the Explorative learning curriculum is still at the beginning step in our ability as the a curriculum, the headmasters and teachers have cared about the subject of explorative learning curriculum a lot, but its theory and practice research still have a long way to go.This text places great emphasis on the statement of necessity, target orientation, process of explorative learning curriculum development, curriculum evaluation. It is hoped that the text can be beneficial to other developments of general senior physical explorative learning curriculum.
