Curriculum is the core of school education, which key is the value orientation.Implementation of basic education reform in China has been a period of time.In fact,there are many problems although we made some achievements.there are so manycommon with traditional Chinese culture in spite of Human education value is fromIndia.One of the important concepts of the curriculum reform is also advocates thespirit of humanities education.This research studies the course value orientation of theprime school teachers from the HEV schools in the background of the curriculumreform and the implement of HEV, which in order to discuss the relationship betweenthe teachers’course value orientation and the teaching practice.This study discusses the connotation of curriculum value orientation,specificclassification and the characteristics of the study,and combing the domestic andforeign research on teachers’ curriculum value orientation on the basis of the collectedliterature information. We study the teachers’ receptivity of the humanistic valueeducation and teachers’ curriculum value orientation by adopting the method ofquestionnaire survey, classroom observation and interview method.The factors ofaffecting teachers’ receptivity and the difference of the teachers’ curriculum valueorientation on the different kind of gender, educational background, subject, teachingage, position and other factors have been compared and discussed.The result is that the prime school teachers have the higher degree of thereceptivity on the HEV. They all agree the significance of the HEV to thedevelopment of the teachers and students,and the harmony T-S relationship. Theidentity of recognition of the value orientation and the identity of academicrationalism processes orientation is the highest one among the above teachers. Ofcourse,they generally do not reject other orientations. Then the following order isthe identity of humanist orientation,the identity of the social reconstructionorientation and the identity of orientation on curriculum of technological development.Teachers have difference on the factor of the different kind of gender,teaching ageand age, and however, there are no difference on the position,educational background and subject about these five orientation. To the identity of orientation on curriculumof technological development, we found that male teachers significantly with higherthan female teachers; And teachers with the shorter teaching age higher than theorders. Same is happen to the age factors.So we conclude the following conclusion. First, the reason that the prime schoolteachers of HEV with the highest degree of the identity of recognition of the valueorientation is our country pay more attention to students’ scientific and culturalknowledge and basic skills.Second, these teachers are and will face huge pressure topracticing the concepts of the HEV under the current educational background andexaminational system although having the higher conception.Therefore to establish ascientific and reasonable evaluation system is the foundation of the renewal of theeducation idea, change the way of teaching.HEV should be localization and shouldincrease the communication between school and parents.Training teachers should alsobecome more professional.These all aim to promote the implementation of the HEVproject better.
