《The full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(experiment draft)》put forward: Mathematics education should face all students,and be adapted to the needs of the development of students’ personality,make everybody obtain good mathematics education and have different development in mathematics.Class-Selection System is good for respecting students’ personality differences,arousing their interest in learning,meeting their different demands,so as to improve the effectiveness of the middle school mathematics teaching.In this paper,I take the reform of AB Stratified Class-Selection System in Zhoushan No.1 Middle School as an example to study.Zhoushan No.1 Middle School is a new school,and it is a merger of three old schools.In order to change traditional,single teaching model and improve teaching effectiveness,many new attempts in teaching are being made.According to the fact,we choose math and science of Grade 2 as the first attempt for AB Stratified Class-Selection System in August,2011.First,in order to provide theoretical support for the subsequent research,in this paper,I introduce the theory of multiple intelligences,constructivism theory,the theory of the zone of proximal development,and the differences of middle school students.Second,I introduce the specific circumstances from AB Stratified Class-Selection System guiding ideology,the choice of subject,the student stratification basis,organization form,the teaching staff and the teaching arrangement of Zhoushan No.1 Middle School.Third,I make a comprehensive survey about AB Stratified Class-Selection System.We can get to know some information through the form of questionnaire and interview for the problems and we can also get some countermeasures for the direct research.Fourth,through the data obtained from the comparison and analysis,I think that the students have a certain degree of increase in general,and most of the students’ learning behavior go toward positive transformation.And the teachers’ education teaching ability get promoted.Of course,it also brings some problems.For example,it brings some negative psychological impact on some students,teachers’ work pressure increases,the difficulty of the teaching management also increases because the students don’t prepare for the next class always.At last,I address some issues the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to provide reference for the reform of middle school mathematics teaching.
