At the end-March,2003,National Ministry of Education in China officially published the Project of New Curriculum in General Middle High School <Experiment>.Curriculum in general middle high school consists of three levels----study field,subject and module.The Project also has instructions and suggestions to improve the curriculum structure,optimizing the curriculum content,curriculum implementation and evaluation.The project provides the base of theoretical framework and discussion for class-selection system.At the same time.The diversification of curriculum structure provides the base of implementing curriculum for class-selection system.In December,2014,Ministry of Education issued Suggestions about Implementing Academic Proficiency Test in Middle High School.The diversified college entrance examination subjects have created multiple evaluating modes and the academic proficiency test reform has promoted more schools to take class-selection teaching system.From curriculum reform to the reform of college entrance examination,education is paying more and more attention to develop students’ character and expand the space for students can choose.China has been implementing class-selection teaching for 30 years,Beijing National Day School,Shenzhen Middle School and Shanghai Jinyuan Senior High School as the typical schools who have joined the reform.Beijing National Day School most features complete class-selection teaching in which it has already had 5-year reform experience.Beijing National Day School adopt a series of measures,such as school-based research to improve schools’ situations,taking elective classes teaching,establishing a perfect curriculum system,integrating the curricular resources to compile textbook,improving classroom teaching,improving the teaching evaluation system,promoting teachers’ capabilities in knowledge society.Those measures have made the school qualitative change,also made the school become a ecological,harmonious school.The plentiful experience in curriculum implementing and teaching management of Beijing National Day School affords significant lessons for China’s educational reform to draw on.The study first adopt documentary method to collect relative materials of class-selection system at home and abroad,summarize and discuss relative theories and then case study method,classroom observation as well as interviewing methods were jointly taken on Beijing National Day School,aiming at discovering the course and studying on the laws of class-selection teaching system reform in schools.Interview object aimed at Beijing national reformers and teachers of the school.The analysis of the teaching management methods in Beijing National Day School was mainly focused on physics teaching reform to provide optimizing advice for promoting and implementing class-selection teaching system.
