Hotel interns are potential talents.Favorable growth environment makes occupation value orientation of new generation employees differs from previous hotel employees.In employment,they not only focus on basic factors,such as salary,environment and so on,but also focus more on decent work on good occupation growth space,high organizational status,high social recognition and excellent working atmosphere.Therefore,taking hotel interns as research object,this paper discusses the decent work perception status quo of hotel interns’ decent work from the perspective of individual perceptions.This paper also empirically researches on the influence of hotel interns’ decent work perception on employment intention,in order to provide a new direction for the hotel human resources management and school employment guidance.In this study,a questionnaire was designed on the basis of literature review and reference scale.The questionnaire was revised after a small scale test.Through the questionnaire,we surveyed 338 interns,first-hand data obtained,and we use SPSS 17.0.0 for data processing.Through investigation,we draw the following conclusions: the differences in the demographic variables of hotel interns’ employment intention were on: boys are significantly higher than girls;employment intention of secondary school students was significantly higher than that of junior college and university students;the professional students who take this major as interest was significantly higher than that for other reasons.The results of regression analysis showed that in the process of internship,the students’ decent perception of professional recognition,work atmosphere and work load significantly affect their employment intention in the profession,and the influence degree decreased.Among which,the influence of decent perception of professional recognition is the most significant,followed by the work atmosphere and work load.It can be seen that the perception of decent work in the hotel plays an important role in influencing the employment intention of the students majoring in tourism management.The interns in employment,pay more attention to recognition,work environment,work load.This on one hand reflects China’s current severe employment situation makes students more emphasis on the enterprise’s overall strength and overall image,in order to obtain a sense of psychological employment security.On the other hand,reflecting the superior growth environment cast the after 90 s and 00 s lack of hard work spirit,thus,work load becomes an important factor in employment.Accordingly,at the end of this paper provides suggestions for the management of human resources management and employment of college students in colleges and universities: colleges and universities should guide students to establish correct values of occupation;the hotel needs to create harmonious pleasant working atmosphere,set reasonable working load,to create a good corporate image.
