For a long time,mechanical teaching process and monotonous teaching method reduce the inherent interest of poetry during the teaching process of Chinese classes on poetry in junior high school.The one-way explanation of the teacher suppresses the student's feeling and creation.The dominant position of students is not prominent which makes the students learn passively.The lack of "poetic spirit" in teaching can be seen everywhere.How to apply the “poetic spirit” to Chinese classes and to find the coping strategies are the research objectives.The research methods include questionnaire method,lesson-based study and literature review on the basis of teaching practice of the writer.What make the students enjoy the poetic learning and understand the poetic spirit are the teaching exploration from the writer on the seven-grade Chinese Teaching materials on the version of People's Education PressThere are four chapters in the thesis.The first chapter is the introduction which presents the research background,research significance,the domestic research review,research content and research thought.The second chapter states the present situation investigation of poetry teaching in the sample school which provides the important evidence for the study of the lack of “poetic spirit” and coping strategies.The third chapter elaborates the lesson-based study of “poetic spirit” in the Chinese poetry teaching in junior high school.From the real classroom teaching,the writer has summarized the situation of the application of “poetic spirit”,on the basis of the relevant concepts,methods and strategies,which provide the evidence and direction for the study of the improvement of “poetic spirit” of the students in junior high school.Apart from that,the fourth chapter explores the strategies of the application of “poetic spirit” to Chinese teaching in junior high school.This thesis may provide the operable method of the application of “poetic spirit” from three aspects,including teachers' professional quality,the text interpretation of poetry and the combination of learning and thinking of the students.
