The problem of the college students' Personality, Intellect and Success(hereinafter referred to "San Cheng") has always attracted general attention, especially in the field of education. However, in the process of the college students' growth, the direction on "San Cheng" of the college students has produced deviation.There is no doubt that the college students' Personality, Intellect and Success is closely related to their own learning. The key to achieve the "San Cheng" of the contemporary college students is setting up scientific concepts of learning. That Mao Zedong established the virtue,made contribution and expounded his ideas in writing is closely linked with learning.Summarizing the main contents of Mao Zedong's learning concepts and exploring how to use Mao Zedong's learning concepts to promote the realization of the contemporary college students' "San Cheng" have important practical value.Firstly,this paper analyses the connotation of the learning concepts and the "San Cheng", and leads to the effect of the learning concepts on the realization of the "San Cheng", which plays the guiding role on the realization of the "San Cheng". Secondly,from four aspects that taking to understand, to remold the world and the self as the fundamental of the concepts of learning purpose; taking comprehensive study and moral,intellectual, physical all the common development as the main idea of the concepts of learning content; taking critical inheritance, theory with practice and the combination of self-study and group study as the core of the concepts of learning methods; taking modest and prudent, without slack, lifelong learning as the centre of the concepts of learning attitude,the paper elaborates Mao Zedong's learning concepts and its function on the realization of the “San Cheng”. Thirdly, this paper from four aspects that the utility of learning purpose of the contemporary college students lead to the deviation of value orientation of the "San Cheng" target, narrow learning content lead to the "San Cheng" personnel training myopia, lagging of learning methods lead to hinder the realization of the "San Cheng" ideal and superficial learning attitude lead to the slack of insistence in pursuit the "San Cheng" analyses the problems faced by the contemporary college students in the course of the "San Cheng". Finally, comparing Mao Zedong's learning concepts with the contemporary college students' learning concepts, the paper explores the enlightenment of Mao Zedong's concepts of learning on the realization ofthe "San Cheng" of the contemporary colledge students. Contemporary college students should study Mao Zedong's learning concepts. They should set up lofty moral ideal,continue to explore and pursue the truth,and adhere to understand, remold the world in the learning purpose; they should adhere to the study of traditional culture and Marxist theory, make efforts to improve personal comprehensive ability and take the overall development in the learning content; they should constantly remold the subjective world, learn autonomous learning and learn the unity of knowledge and action, theory with practice in the learning method; they should adhere to the honest,down-to-earth learning, study the spirit of "squeezing" and "drilling", establish the concept of lifelong learning in the learning attitude, to promote the realization of the "San Cheng" ultimately.
