Summary:Liberating individuality and personality is what Mao Zedong had always initiated.Mao Zedong's education idea "develop lively,actively and comprehensively" reflects the essential characteristics of liberating individuality and personality.It includes the development of Mao Zedong's theory Personality of the basic content and impact of personality development.Mao Zedong's education idea on personality development includes at least the following three aspects:Firstly,Students' personality development is the initiative development,and it embodies the subject of Students' personality development.Secondly, Students' personality development is the initiative development.It reflects the students' youth and vitality.Thirdly,Students' personality development is comprehensive development of morality,wisdom,physical fitness more than one-sided development.These three aspects also include extensive and profound meaning.The elements that affect personality development can be divided into two respects.Objective factors,for one respect,include social factors and school education factors.Social factors include the attitude of the society to schools and students,and society offers how much different kinds of social practical activities and so on.School education factors consist of management system,the academic structure,curricula and textbook designing,teaching methods,examination and evaluation system,teacher-student relationship.Subjective factors,for another respect,are the elements belonging to students themselves—students'initiative,studying manners,and studying methods.Only by integrating these respects can the personality development be called the good development.The forming course of Mao Zedong's education idea on personality development was of a profound social background and personal experience.Today,in the pursuit of the harmonious development of personality,focus is on the quality of education,in-depth study of Mao Zedong's education idea on personality development has practical significance and guide meaning on management system,the academic structure,curricula and textbook designing,teaching methods, examination and evaluation system,teacher-student relationship.
