Traditional Chinese Medicine is a physical and mental exercise itself,which combines the concentration of body movement,traditional medical channels and collaterals and mental activities as one of TCM.It was created for disease prevention,cure and body building,which is of systematic theoretical ideas and practical methods.An ditcontains a very rich cultural background,whose forms are various and it integrated into the production and living of people with the function of physical and mental care,gracing body and brain and fitness prevention role.Nowadays,the cultural exchange becomes more and more frequent in modern world,the Traditional Chinese Medicine culture becomes more and more accepted and popular in other countries.In the background of 21th's global world,the communication between countries increasingly strengthen,so people's health ideas change and more people identity this way and participate in keeping in good health.Under the background of our country's medical methods,healthy concepts and means continuously updated in the new century,which makes it be widely concerned,and there are more and more people began to study and make up this traditional culture.It also needs more people to do more scientific research.There are many classificationgs of traditional Health preserving exercise,the thesis uses the health preserving exercise of professor zhang Guang de'.such as :breathing exercise improvement respiratory system,comforting the heart and tranquilizing the blood,invigorating spleen,directing and health caring.This paper uses the literature material method,questionnaire survey method(psychological evaluation questionnaire scl-90),the experimental method,mathematical statistics method,and comparative analysis method.Taking64 ordinary college students of Yunnan normal university as the experimental object,we divide students into control group and experimental group randomly before the experiment.The experimental group continuously practices the traditional health preservation methods for18 weeks,according to a semester teaching of 18 weeks(36 class hours),and have a lesson once a week with 90 minutes.At the same time and place,there are professional teachers to teach traditional health preservation techniques.Meanwhile,the control group does the college physical education class teaching.After 18 weeks'(36 hours')teaching experiment,there is a test for the students' physical quality evaluation and psychological evaluation,and finally it can draw conclusions:1)The experimental group teaches the traditional health preservation methods for 18 weeks.The experimental results show that traditional health preservation methods do have an obvious improvement on students' body shape,physiological function,physical exercise capacity and psychological indexes.Through the statistics and analysis,before they use traditional health preservation methods the Index(P < 0.01)appeared significant difference.It mainly displays in students' body shape,physiological function and body movement ability test of the chest,heart rate,blood pressure,lung capacity,hemoglobin value,bench test and quiet breathing rate,hand reaction time,close their eyes when standing on one foot and so on.These9 indexes have different degrees of change before the trial.2)The control group does the college public physical education curriculum teaching for 18 weeks.Through the statistical analysis,before and after the use of college physical education curriculum teaching,it has a marked change on control group's vital capacity,hands reaction time,crook proneness,sit-ups,and pull-ups and standing long jump,and these 6 indicators have obvious change before and after experiment.Significant difference of(P < 0.05).3)The experiment results show that Traditional health preservation methods is by the way of its own posture adjustment,abdominal breathing and mind control to be the harmony of body and mind,and keep balance of Yin and Yang,which can stimulate human body inner potential traditional health sports.Students' health is one of the important guarantees for sustain able development of school in modern society.With students' life rhythm speeding up,traditional health preservation methods show precious cultural wealth that is of great value to students' healthy life,whose goals are to pursue the balanced development of body and mind for the principle,pay attention to the relationship between students' mental and physical health,and think highly of the harmonious relationship among human,environment and nature.It needs the whole body's coordination with energy,physical strength and spirit can play the greatest potential for body.Traditional health preservation teaching methods combined with energy,physical strength and spirit to have effects on different areas of body and main and collateral channels systematically,which can promote student' body coordination,stability during their learning process,and adjust the body function level of each area,and improve the body physiological function level and improve the blood and oxygen transport ability,so as to have prevention and treatment for various diseases.4)Traditional health preservation methods as a means of traditional sports keeping in good health,it is the effective combination of traditional health preservation with traditional sports.Traditional health preservation methods constantly enrich and perfect in people's productive labor and life practice,it has formed with long history and the Chinese characteristic theory and method of preserve one's health.In the thesis,it is by the way of teaching experiment method to research the role of traditional health preservation methods on college students' physical health,so it lays the foundation for the traditional health preservation methods to become the next part of college students learning course,as well as provides teachers who teach traditional health preservation with references for the teaching training in the future.
