In 2001, a new round of curriculum reform of elementary education has proposed the establishment of "national, local, school" three-grade curriculum management system. Under the category of school-based curriculum, the "Dream Course", a comprehensive quality course, came into being in 2008. By the end of March in 2016, there were 223 schools in Guizhou developing dream courses as school-based courses and 6029 teachers taught dream courses. Guizhou has become "Dream Course" province with the most number of participants and the most extensive coverage of "Dream Course". Curriculum implementation was bound to have a direct impact on the development of teachers.Through years of practice, How much "Dream Course" influence professional development of teachers has attracted attentions from school and the whole society.The study selects the HY primary school in Huaxin district with the long “ideal courses” as the individual case. Via some methods like investigation and comparison, studying on the implementation of the “ideal course” and the effect of the growth of the teacher major, and trying to respond and interpret to some concrete questions. For instance, whether the “ideal course” can promote the growth of the teacher major, and which of the factors play an essential role?It is discovered that the reason why the implementation of the ideal course promotes the growth of the teacher major is that: 1. Stimulating the inner driving force for the growth of the teacher major with strengthening the teachers' professional acceptance; 2. Enriching the teaching methods to promote the teachers' professional capacities; 3. Accelerating the good interpersonal construction. And the problems are also emerged on: 1. The support of the educational administrative department has a terrible influence on the implementation of the course; 2. It is difficult for some teachers to change the attitudes; 3. The course resource construction and the growth of the ideal teacher major are on the period of the bottleneck. If setting about from some favorable factors that accelerate the growth of the teacher major and overcome some difficulties thereof, can effectively promote the growth of the teacher major and the development of the school, which makes the children benefit from it.
