Appreciative education is an educational process of admitting the students' differences,allowing for their failure and infinite love for them.The requirements of emotional education in the new biology curriculum standard is closely related with appreciation education.Proper penetration of appreciation education in biology class can effectively enhance students' scientific literacy.In order to study how to optimize the teaching of biology in senior high school,this study took 1160 students and 31 biology teachers from Zaozhuang eighth middle school as subjects Questionnaires of appreciation education,which is divided into teacher volume and student volume,was taken as the research tool.Based on the literature review,questionnaire survey and interview,the following two aspects were studied: On the one hand,the influence of students' emotional experience on biological learning and their biological learning view and biological teacher view were analyzed.On the other hand,teachers' vocational view,student view and appreciation education view were analyzed.Main results for this study are as follows:1.The situation and countermeasures of appreciative education(1)Most biology teachers support appreciative education.96.8% of the teachers think it can promote students to take the initiative to learn,93.5% of teachers believe that can enhance self-confidence.(2)Affable,well guided,humorous and learning biology teachers are popular among students.More than 86% of the students love affable,well guided type,more than 80%of the students love humorous type,about 63% of the students love learning type.(3)More than 70% of the students said that the praise from biology teachers is helpful for them to form a positive psychological experience and to promote their study of biology.2.Some problems have also been discovered,which are as follows:(1)More than 60% of the students are lack of affirmation and appreciation from biology teachers.(2)About 50% of students lack biological learning interest.(3)80.7% of biology teachers mistake students for bad discipline.(4)Communication between teachers and students is lacked.(5)The contrast that biology teachers think that they often use appreciation strategies but students think that they are lacking for appreciation.(6)Due to the heavy burden of teachers' work,they cannot manage this.In view of the problem,the author puts forward some suggestions on the implementation of appreciation education from the aspects of increasing the input of education resources to realize the small class teaching,reserving teachers resources to reduce teaching burden and establishing tutorial system to strengthen interaction between teachers and students.
