STEM(science,technology,engineering and mathematics)education is an education which is the most fundamental,comprehensive,creative and economic.It is also a sensational point for education competition,development and reform force for all countries.STEM education ability is all students succeed in informatization,a highly technical society must develop ability,and develop the ability to go far beyond the past level of accepted.STEM education has attracted much attention in foreign countries,there are some mature research and practice,to produce a certain and valuable results.However,domestic STEM education is emerging field,research is relatively scattered,has yet to form a specific theory and the practice of effective model.In this paper,based on ERIC database,to foreign nearly 10 years related STEM education related literature to carry on the quantitative analysis.Found in STEM education research hot spot topic is STEM education related theory,STEM education research methods used,STEM education school change,STEM education continuity,STEM education insufficient on behalf of the group,etc.Future research will focus on integration of curriculum integration,school partners,carried out and the evaluation of polyhedral objects.Understand the research status quo,on the basis of the STEM education and practice.Support in STEM education theory,explore integration STEM education of the core elements,and then build a teaching model,course development mode.This research has focused on the present stage STEM curriculum development practice,elaborates on why fusion,fusion into what,and how to merge.Finally,the fusion STEM education concept in vocational education,to specific design practice.
