Research On The Relation Among Family-Environment,Career Decision-making Self-efficacy And Career Maturity Of Undergraduates

In recent years,the students' achievement motivation,personality,vocational interest,vocational values and career decision-making self-efficacy has always been the hot spot topic of scholars to research.But most are confined to the individual's own internal power system especially the personality,interest and ability's influence to career choice,rarely involves its external power system' s influence on individual' s career choice and career decision-making,less research about the relation among family environment,career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity of undergraduates.You know,there are several factors that affect college students' career choice,both personalities,interests,abilities and values etc main factors and social evaluation,economic interest and family environment etc object factors have an effect on undergraduates' career choice.Was born in a big family or a small family,will inherit the predecessor career,whether parents can produce beneficial influence and power,and so on,these factors have a more subtle but real influence on career choice,at the same time affect the career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity.Taking undergraduates as the research object of this study,discuss the influences of family environment factors on the career choice,and career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity are the important factors affecting career choice,so study the relationship between the three,expect to improve the quality of vocational guidance and put forward rationalization proposal.This study selected Tianjin,Hebei five universities' undergraduates to have questionnaire survey,and gain their corresponding statistics.Through statistical analysis,to understand undergraduates' status of family environment,career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity,discuss the relationship among family environment,career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity.The study found that:(1)The cohesion,achievement orientation,active-recreational orientation,organization of family environment of college students is higher than theoretical average,the conflict,intellectual-cultural orientation,control of family environment of college students is lower than theoretical average.(2)The overall level of career decision-making self-efficacy of college students is higher,the collect information ability dimension of career decision-making self-efficacy is the highest;then self-assessment ability ? choose target ability ? problem solving ability;the planning ability dimension of career decision-making self-efficacy is the lowest.(3)The overall level of career maturity of college students is higher,the score of professional independent dimension is the highest;then professional reference?friends and relatives rely on?career objectives ? professional value;the score of professional confidence dimension is the lowest.(4)There is a significant correlation between College Students' family environment(the cohesion,active-recreational orientation,organization),career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity.The career decision-making self-efficacy plays a partial intermediary role in the family environment(the cohesion)and career maturity.
