In recent years, Web-based collaborative learning is a hot research topic in educational informationization area. Many researchers in education circle and fruitful results have been achieved. In addition, some Web-based collaborative learning systems have been designed and developed, which makes a great contribution to enlarge the scope of audiences and enhance the degree of understanding knowledge both intensively and extensively.Web2.0 is a research hotspot of the Internet recently. In general, people only pay attention to its technological points, such as RSS、Wiki、Ajax、Tag, etc. and ignore its features(openness, participation, sharing and creativeness) showed on the base of collaboration, which is consistent with the requirement of constructivism learning theory and helps to collaborative learning implementation. In this paper, applying Web2.0 technology and idea and combining the requirement of constructivism learning theory,a spiral ascending collaborative learning model based on Web2.0 has been established and the mechanism of populace appraisal is introduced. Approach of implementing heterogeneous grouping is reformed. A brand new Web2.0-based collaborative learning system has been developed and applied in teaching.Teaching application shows the system is effective to enhance school performance and train students’ comprehensive quality, such as presentation skill, collaborative ability, collective consciousness, etc.This paper mainly completed the following work:(1)Detailed analysis of collaborative learning-related theory.(2)Technical analysis of implementing Web-based collaborative learning system.(3)Design of Web2.0-based collaborative learning system model and data base.(4)Implementation of Web2.0-based collaborative learning system.(5)Application of collaborative learning system based on Web2.0 in teaching.At present, the domestic and international research on the combination of Web2.0 and network collaborative learning is not in-depth, Application of Web2.0-based collaborative learning system in teaching. The learning system has been applied in the course of principles of computer organization and its effectiveness is verified by using related educational research method.the function of the system need to be improved, such as IM subsystem can only deal with the text messages, correspondent virtual experimental system is not contained and the universality of the learning system has not been verified yet.
