The Research On Performance Evaluation Of Basic Education Based On DEA Method

The basic education which concerns the populace’s cultivation is the basic of further education and obtain employment.At present the number and scale of the problem of basic education has been basically solved.Improve the quality and efficiency of basic education has become the focus of education reform.How to evaluate the performance of basic education is increasingly an issue of wide public concer.Exploring simple and efficient,workable method for performance evaluation of basic education can provide a reference point for the education administrative departments to improve the utilization of educational resources.At present,education performance evaluation are more concentrated in higher education,less for basic education.And basic education evaluation is mostly about teachers,financial,administrative.It is less studies for overall resource utilization of basic education.So this paper use 14 cities of liaoning province as sample objects.At first,this paper constructed resource allocation evaluation index based on the elementary and middle school,and established the basic education resources allocation efficiency evaluation model based on DEA.In measurement data analysis,on the basis of exploring the cities in basic education resources input and output efficiency of different problems,find the result in the different reasons of the lack of performance in different cities.And according to different cities,this paper put forward related policy suggestions about faculty,material resources,education fundings and the school scale.
