With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of its international status,nowadays China's wide influence on the world not only lies in the politics, the military and the economics, but also in the language. The popularization of Chinese language in Thailand is becoming more and more mature, but there are still some problems to be solved. Compared with the general Chinese teaching,the Chinese language teaching in Thailand's multilingual contexts is more special. Based on this fact, the author has studied and drawn some viewpoints and cognition on the Chinese language teaching in Thailand's multilingual contexts combining with the ten-month teaching practice in the primary school in Thailand. Starting from the multilingual contexts, this paper will provide some useful theoretical methods and practical experience for the promotion of Chinese language in Thailand by combining with the analysis of Chinese language teaching in Thailand primary schools and summarizing the teaching methods suitable for multilingual learners. This paper can be divided to the following parts:The first chapter mainly elaborates the research background, theoretical basis and innovation of this subject, introduces the research methods of domestic and foreign relevant research results and the research methods of this paper, on which basis, the main view of this paper is put forward.The second chapter introduces the multilingual background of Bangkok, Thailand and the international primary school the author had been teaching in, and conducts further exploration of multilingual learners and Chinese language teaching on the abovebasis.The multilingual learners in the Thailand primary schools and the Chinese language acquisition are discusses in the third chapter. The influence of acquired languages on the Chinese language and the learners' distinguishing different languages are analyzed.On the basis of the previous chapters, the fourth one introduces the particularity of teaching of Chinese in the multilingual environment, through the author's observation and study, the Chinese teaching and English teaching are compared in many aspects,and the teaching strategies and methods of Chinese language in the multilingual contexts are proposed on the basis of plenty of classroom practice, so as to provide references for Chinese language teaching.Finally,as the conclusion, the author summarizes the research results of this paper,and puts forward the limitations and shortcomings of this subject.
