New curriculum reform put forward some basic ideas,such as facing all students,advocating the inquiry-based learning,improve the biological science literacy,so classroom teaching is facing new challenges.Case teaching model is an emphasis on students as the main teaching mode.It's a teaching model that trains the student to integrate theory with practice,improve autonomous learning ability and innovation ability,and encourage students to rich personalized understanding and expression.Applying case teaching to junior middle school biology class-teaching is a new breakthrough in teaching reform.In this paper,case teaching research is guided by the concept of new curriculum reform,base on constructivism,teaching communication and cognitive flexibility theory,combining with teaching practice,and using the method of literature research,experimental method and experience summary.In this paper,from the following five parts discusses the case teaching to explore the process:The first part is the summary of case teaching.This part mainly discusses the development situation of Case Method,the concept of Case Method and Case Method theory basis.The second part,discusses the application of Case Method in junior middle school biology course,mainly from the curriculum standard,biological discipline characteristic and the junior high school student's characteristics of physical and mental development and so on.The third part,expounds the process of case teaching in the junior middle school biology,divided into four stages:curriculum design,preparation before class,classroom implementation,evaluation feedback.Finally show case teaching examples.The fourth part,introduce the teaching experiment that compared case teaching with routine teaching,concluded the results through the written test,questionnaire and student interview.The fifth part,combined with Case Method research experience,put forward some essays.
