Abstract/Summary:
With the new curriculum reform, higher requirements are set for the scientific education of high school students, and high school chemistry classroom environment has gradually been the attention of high schools. There is no uniform definition of classroom environment. This study adopts the definition on classroom environment: social and psychological factors which have an influence on teaching activities. Based on the study of the classroom environment at home and abroad, this study has compiled "the questionnaire of high school chemistry classroom environment",and we tested the questionnaire in one of the key high school of Hubei Province. Through the investigation, this paper analyzes the current situation of the classroom environment and analyzes the problems existing in the classroom environment, and gives suggestions for the problem. This study is divided into five parts, the specific content of each part is as follows:The first chapter: introduction. This part introduces the origin, the content and significance of the research, the research methods and ideas. This study combing the concept of classroom environment, summarizes the theoretical research on classroom environment at home and abroad, and also analysis the existing measuring tools of the classroom environment, the future direction of research on classroom environment. The second chapter, the design and implementation of the discovery of current situation of high school chemistry classroom environment. Through the method of literature research and theoretical analysis, this paper establishes the structures and dimensions of "the chemistry classroom environment in senior high school" . This study had a preliminary test, after the reliability analysis and validity analysis of the questionnaire, large numbers of questionnaire were issued in a key high school in Hubei Province. The 8 dimensions of the "high school chemistry classroom environment questionnaire" are: the relationship between the students, the relationship between teachers and students, classroom participation, task orientation, student cooperation, teacher support, the overall atmosphere and physical environment, a total of 50 topics. And there also have a teacher’s interview made by communication software. The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of chemistry classroom environment in senior high school. The results of the previous chapter are analyzed and summarized, and the reliability and validity are tested again because of modifying a dimension. On this basis, dimension analysis, class analysis, and gender differences analysis are made in analysis of the current situation of high school chemistry classroom environment. Students are pretty satisfied with the high school chemistry classroom environment, as the score is more than 3. But there still exits some problems. The fourth chapter, the optimization strategy of high school chemistry classroom environment. In view of the present situation and existing problems of chemistry classroom environment in high school, this paper puts forward some strategies to optimize the classroom environment. The fifth chapter, summarizes and conclusions of this study. This chapter summarizes the conclusions of this study, and points out the shortcomings of this study and the problems that need to be further studied in the future."The questionnaire of high school chemistry classroom environment" performs well in the practical implementation. The survey shows that there are some problems in the high school chemistry classroom environment: students are most unsatisfactory in"physical environment" dimension, especially for classroom tables arrangement."Teacher centered" "classroom teacher-student relationship" have a significant affect on students’ classroom performances. There is a problem of "students’ participation", and the physical environment is not ideal, the degree of girls’ class participation is lower than boy. At last, this study puts forward some strategies to improve the situation.
