Research On The Application Of Women’s Social Work Methods In Hatching Social Organization Of Community

This paper makes a case study on the social organization incubation service provided by the social workers in the Y community of L Street in Wuhan by means of literature research, participatory observation and in-depth interviews. By summarizing the merits and problems of the case, this paper summarizes the experience of hatching social organizations by the women’s social work methods in community and tries to explore the path of it.In this case, the social workers used women’s social work methods to hatch out a social organization - ’Friends family mutual help center’, within the stages of preparation,building and establish of the organization in one year. The use of women’s social work methods in this case are mainly reflected in gender analysis methods, gender perspective,multi-level resources linking and the methods of empowerment. There are some advantages and disadvantages of the case, according these we can draw some experience about hatching social organizations by the women’s social work methods in community.In the process of hatching social organization in the process of community socialization, the theory of empowerment and resource dependence are intertwined through the whole process of hatching, which provides a suitable theoretical analysis and practical working method for social workers. We can deduce some of the experiences of hatching social organizations by the women’s social work methods in community: First,the relevant policies and mechanisms are the basis, the government needs to strengthen the construction of talent team of women’s social work, gives more policy support and social work professional autonomy to social work, and social work institutions also need to improve their system. Second, social workers should adherence to use women’s social work methods the professional protection of incubation service. Third, the effective linkage of resources is the driving force of the organization of incubation and development, social workers need to take into account the external resources and building internal capacity to help women and organizations to play a geographical advantage.
