A Study On Social Support Network For Urban Empty-Nest Elders In Social Work

In the context of the ageing,the number of older has grown dramatically.As an elderly special group of Empty Nest,which the quality of life is increasingly becoming an important aspect of social service.Under the macroscopic background of promoting community construction,Social work using professional cases,group works,community works,applying the theory of social support network to social work practice.As the main service object of practice to Empty Nest old man,provide the professional and differentiated services to promote the development of the elderly.The study through the Empty nest elderly community practices,research and analysis the typical cases,promoting the social workers' reflections on the professional developments.In order to exploring the practical working methods,which is adapted to the needs of the service object.Providing the operational experience to social work practice,and then realizing the development this profession.This thesis is mainly divided into the following five parts,The first part introduces the research background,significance,research thought,method,relevant literature review,research characteristic and innovation point of this paper.The second part is mainly definite the concept and related theoretical support;The third part is the necessity and feasibility analysis of the construction of social support network for the elderly people.The fourth part is the case study to analysis the case work,group work and community work,and it can be used to illustrate the significance.The last part of this paper summarizing the reflection and shortcomings of the brief analysis,sharing the social work experience,reflecting the process and methods of social work.Through the case study of social work practice,the basic norms of the work method,value idea,behavior pattern and relationship maintenance in the process of intervening empty nest elderly are obtained.To achieve social work involving more community-based social support,we need think about the maintenance effective methods and the popularization of the network.
