The school-based curriculum, which has been the trend of the curriculum reform of the basic education in our country, has been originated in education democratization movement since 1960s. The "three level management" curriculum model put forward in 2002 has been provided a great development space for the development of school-based curriculum and school-based teaching materials. In addition, mathematics is not only plays an important role in cultivating students' abstract, inference, analysis and the cultivation of comprehensive ability, but also has a huge impact on the social development, quality education and so on. In April 2003, the Ministry of Education promulgated the "ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard (Experiment)",this programmatic document has opened the curtain of a new round of high school mathematics curriculum reform in China, and greatly promoted the development of mathematics education. The document pointed out that in the new curriculum reform,teaching material reform is a very important content. Therefore,it's an urgent problem for mathematics teachers to solve that how to carry out the school-based teaching of mathematics textbooks, so that different levels of students can make full use of teaching materials for independent learning and research.The author takes the A Version High School Mathematics of the People Education Press (Compulsory 1)as an object for research, this article uses the literature analysis,practical research, experience summary and other research methods. First of all, on the basis of the present situation of the research on the hierarchical teaching and the teaching material analysis, this paper analyzes the necessity of adopting the stratified teaching mode and the school-based teaching of the high school mathematics teaching. Secondly,on the basis of theoretical analysis, combined with the actual situation of the author's school mathematics teaching, the paper explores the process of school-based teaching. It can be roughly divided into four aspects: the investigation of learning situation, the analysis of the difficulty of teaching materials, the classification design of school-based teaching materials, and the application of feedback analysis. Finally, the paper analyzes the prospect of the school-based teaching and some problems in the implementation process.Through the research it can be seen that the school-based teaching material is helpful to improve the professional level of teachers, to help students at different levels to improve their ability, and help to form the school characteristics. However, due to the lack of practice base and geographical constraints, the implementation of school-based teaching materials was hindered, especially in rural schools. Therefore, the school-based teaching material is a trend of educational reform in our country, which requires the joint efforts of the state, schools and teachers to solve the problem and achieve the goal.
