Nowadays,the cultivation of geographical core culture has become one of the key factors to further deepen the reform of geography curriculum and strengthen quality education.Geographical standards have become a hot topic of national basic geography education because of its contribution to the cultivation of geographical core literacy such as knowledge,ability and method of geography,etc.However,according to current condition,the cultivation of the thought on geographical scale is pessimistic in the teacher's attention and the student's training effect.Many students' thought of the geographical scale are low to some extent,which will affect the development of student's core literacy.Therefore,the research on the thought of geographical scale will be meaningful.Based on previous relevant research,this paper will first analyze the concept of geographical scale,and then define the connotation of the geographical scale.It is believed that the cultivation of the thought of scale in the senior high school includes six dimensions as follows,the thought of scale's division,the thought of scale's matching,the thought of scale's linkage,the thought of scale's effect,the thought of scale's selection and the thought of scale's transformation,so this paper will analyze the educational meaning of the thought of geographical scale.Beyond that,the research contains making the questionnaire survey of teachers and students,and investigates such as the teachers' awareness of the ideological education,teachers' recognition about the thought of scale and the current educational situation about the geographical scale in senior high school,etc.Finally,according to the analysis of the questionnaire,the corresponding strategies are put forward.This paper draws the following conclusions: first of all,in the course of the actual teaching,teachers usually paid different attention to the six dimensions of scale's thought,among which they tended to pay more attention to the scale's effect,and because of different educational background,most teachers had certain understanding of the value of the cultivation of geography.After all,the awareness of scale still needed to be improved.The cultivation of the geographical scale was influenced by many factors,and the degree of influence was different.Second,the study also found that the cultivation of geographical scale in high school was not balanced with the influence of the grade and other factors,so necessary training will need improving.Besides,the thinking difference between male and female was not distinct.However,there were some significant differences about the geographical scale in different grades,the six geographical dimensions of the elder students were better than the young students.Thus it can be seen the thought of geographical scale could be improved by training.Finally,to improve the effectiveness of the construction of the geographical scale and realize the goal of the cultivation of the geographical scale's thought in the high school,this research suggests that the educational department not only should strengthen the attention of the geographical scale's in the curriculum standards and textbooks,but also should fully understand the geographical scale's thought and its educational value,and adopt certain training strategy in the actual teaching course.The teaching strategies have a clear requirement of ideological content,and strengthen the management of geographic knowledge structure;to strengthen the research on the expression of teaching content,we can take the means from simple to complex and from outline to specific description.At the same time,the picture both dynamic and nested can be used.The value of the article lies in adopting the method both qualitative and quantitative to study the cultivation of the geographical scale in high school's students.It is concluded that the knowledge's deficiency of the students and the teachers on geographical scale had great effects,at the same time,a new effective strategy of cultivating the geographical scale's thought is put forward as the reference for practical geographical teaching in senior high school.
