Since 2009,the way of conveying information and communicating emotion has seen great changes with micro blog being the media.Micro writing,which brings about a composition of about one hundred words,is accepted by an increasing number of people.So it is accepted by Chinese writing in middle schools.Since 2014,micro writing has been a part of College Entrance Examination of Chinese(Beijing),of which the response is overwhelming.Micro writing is a significant attempt in the reform of college entrance examination,so teachers of Chinese in senior high school should attach great importance to it.The application of micro writing to Chinese writing teaching in senior high school is adding vigor and vitality to Chinese teaching.However,students are faced with many problems in the process of writing,such as the inaccurate use of words,and the badly-organized and logical writing.Reading appreciation is the core of Chinese Book for Senior High School published by People's Education Press.Reading materials are mainly written by great writers;they reflect the characteristics of the times;the layout of each unit focuses on both style and humanistic connotation.It is necessary to integrate micro writing with reading appreciation,which accords with the development of the times,meets the need of the combination of reading and writing as well as the needs of the reform of college entrance examination.The integration of micro writing with reading appreciation also meets the demands of Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior High School.Based on the related researches on micro writing both at home and abroad,the author surveyed the present situation of integrating reading and writing in Qin'an No.1 Middle School,interviewed some teachers and students,observed the classroom teaching and corrected students' homework.It has been found that teachers and students did not attach much importance to micro writing;reading appreciation and micro writing were not well integrated;relatively single methods were adopted to integrate Reading appreciation and micro writing;teacher's evaluation was not provided as timely as expected.Based on these problems,the author puts forward the following strategies of integrating micro writing with reading appreciation in senior high school: 1)Teachers should be fully aware of the importance of integrating micro writing with reading appreciation,and strengthen the guidance on micro writing by employing the method of case analysis and classified instruction.2)Multiple forms of writing should be employed,such as expanded writing,summary writing,imitative writing,rewriting,supplementary writing,the continuation task,evaluating writing,a response essay and writing award speech.3)Micro writing should be a process of mixing writing,evaluation and correction.Timely feedback,including self evaluation,peer feedback and teacher's feedback,should be provided.Meanwhile,the study,which is combined with some instructional designs,reflects on the problems emerged in the integration of micro writing and reading appreciation and proposes some suggestions as follows: 1)Time should be allocated well.2)The topics of micro writing should be designed closely related to real life.3)Teachers' feedback should be in his/her special way.
