History is not a knowledge of only reciting,but also a subject to understand the historical essence.And the main task of history teaching is also not transmitting its knowledge.In fact,history is a lovely and interesting course.The History Curriculum Standard of Senior Schools(experiment)says explicitly,history curriculum should make the students learn to study,to think,to analyze and form their own true life,values and world view during gaining the basic history knowledge and skills.Therefore,there are more history materials in testing their abilities of interpretation and analysis.Nowadays,history materials are the key in senior history teaching and the college entrance examination.However,there are still differences in current history teaching between practice and theory.Many teaching actions can not arouse the students' interest in history study.On the contrary,they make the students increase burden and dislike history.In order to improve the situation,this paper is to study the materials application of history teaching in high schools.It includes the following parts:The first part is an introduction,which is talking about the reason to the study,its meaning and purpose,the research methods,including the domestic and foreign related research situation.The second part is the main body,including five chapters.1.The related concept,such as,the classification of materials,constructivism theory,effective teaching theory,improve our theoretical accomplishment to support the study.2.The significant role of materials and the examples combining with teaching practice,improving the teachers' recognition to the importance of its teaching materials.3.Finding out the existing problems and suggesting their countermeasures,according to the questionnaire survey of teachers and students in Youxi No.1 Middle School,Fujian.4.The principles of choosing materials,combining with the teaching materials(PED),which are the first step to achieve effective teaching.5.A teaching case,taking Wang Anshi'Reform in Compulsory I,Subject IV(PED)asan example,to state and show the materials value of the practice and application in senior history teaching.
