On the basis of the deepening of curriculum reform and under the background of the Ministry of Education propose to study and formulate students develop core literacy and academic quality standards system,the increasing importance was realized that the students' learning autonomy,cooperation and inquiry play an important role.We are constantly putting forward new demands to the classroom of democracy,the dominant position of students and the leading role of teachers.Therefore,in view the effect of classroom discussion that it's exploratory,creative,effective and cooperation can stimulate students' interest in learning,improve the quality of classroom teaching,a lot of teachers teaching in actively using this method.However,there are formal and inefficient problems in the teaching practice of classroom discussions.In this paper,there are the summary and reflection of the problems arising from the classroom discussion of ideological and political teaching in high school.Then it introduces the focus discussion method include the origin and connotation,the implementation steps and the design methods of questions in each level.And through the concrete teaching experiment,to prove the teaching effect in the Economic Life.The focused conversation method has been widely recognized in the field of foreign education,in China,it is mainly used as a discussion method in various conferences.Only a few scholars in the field of education develop research and practice,so,the research should be further discussed.In this paper,I design the implementation process of focus discussion based on the outstanding achievements of predecessors.They are: designing teaching objectives,doing pre-evaluation,designing focused discussion,making classroom discussion and evaluating the five procedures.According to the relevant theory and researches,the experimental research on the focused conversation method is carried out in M middle school.At the end of the experiment,the author analyze the results of the implementation effect of the focused conversation method.The conclusions answered the experimental hypothesis.Compared with the traditional teaching methods,the application of thefocused conversation method can significantly promote the students' learning interest and learning achievement in the Economic Life.And it also can improve students' ability to extract information and analyze materials.The author hoped that this study can break the shackles of traditional political teaching methods and provide a new teaching idea for effective classroom discussion so as to improve the effectiveness of political teaching.
