With the formation and maturation of the China's seclusion cultural traditions,the seclusion literature works has gradually enriched.The hermits who created these works belonged to the "scholar" class,and their works reflect their own spiritual connotation,more or less.A lot of excellent seclusion literature works have been compiled in middle school textbooks.The "New Curriculum Standards of Chinese Literature for Junior High School" emphasizes that Chinese Literature teaching should focus on "improving students' ideological and moral cultivation and aesthetic taste through the influence of excellent culture,so that they can gradually form a fine personality and sound characters." How to guide the students to interpret the seclusion literature correctly has practical significance for the teachers.Seclusion literature has a great impact on the development of Chinese literature.Therefore,the existing studies on seclusion literature and seclusion culture are very comprehensive.This paper mainly focuses on the realistic meaning of seclusion literature in middle school Chinese Literature teachings,with the purpose of providing basis for the teaching of seclusion literature in middle schools,and helping students to establish good characters and correct outlook on life and values.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part analyzes the practical significance of seclusive literature in middle school Chinese literature teaching from three aspects.First of all,the seclusive literature has a literary value in the teaching of Chinese literature in middle schools.The hermits placed their pursuit for ideal personality in their works.Seclusive literary works have opened up a new field and transformed a new perspective for literary creation.It is a window for middle school students to understand ancient Chinese literature.Secondly,seclusive literature has a custom and culture value in the middle school Chinese literature teaching.Seclusive literature has a profound historical accumulation,and reflects various Chinese customs and culture.Such as the philosophy of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,aesthetic life style,regional characteristics and social ideals.Through the study of seclusive literature,students can deepen their understandings about traditional Chinese customs and culture.Thirdly,the seclusive literature has a spiritual value in middle school Chinese literature teaching.The scholar class has its own pursuit of value in ideology,and the seclusive literature embodies their choices and attitudes toward life,among which the beneficial spirit can be learned and and derived by the middle school students.The second part discusses how middle school students inherit traditional Chinese culture from seclusive literature.Firstly,students can gain understandings about many writers and their works,feel the unique charm of seclusive literature.Many of the litterateurs secluded themselves from the world to live in idyllic countrysides,and draw spiritual sustenances from the landscapes,such like Ji Kang,Ruan Ji,Tao Yuan-ming,etc.Studying their works is a interesting way for students to improve their culture cultivation and aesthetic taste.Secondly,students can be familiar with the various literary genres used in seclusive literary works,such as poems depicting natural landscapes,"Cifu"with feelings and rhythms of poems,and other genres been used to express seclusive feelings,such as Biography,Inscription,and Story,etc.Thirdly,students can learn about the regional customs the authors' life experiences.Seclusive literature reflects hermits'seclusive life,which includes abundant contents about regional customs and the author 's perceptions and life experiences.The third part analyzes the existing problems in seclusive literature teaching and puts forward some suggestions.First of all,this paper analyzes the misreadings for seclusive literature.Many seclusive literary works have expressed the sentiments of being indifferent to fame and fortune,being tranquil and self-adapting,being patriotic but refuse to yield to the powerful,and being caring about the people's wellbeing but refuse to involve in dirty politics.There are many hermits have left us valuable heritages,both intellectually and spiritually.Apart from their brilliant works and profound thoughts,their noble,unyielding,and impregnable characters are also worth learning.Secondly,this paper attempt to put forward some suggestions from two aspects:the selection of teaching materials and classroom teaching methodologies.For instance,focus on prompting seclusive literature's functions for emotional and aesthetic education when selecting and editing teaching materials,and teachers should follow the principle from simple to complex when teaching seclusive literature,etc.I hope this paper could be helpful for the teaching of seclusive literature.
