With the rapid development of information technology in the field of education ,information technology and curriculum fusion is embarking on a new stage of development, which accelerates the modernization of education. The new era requires new talent, new talent needs to have the innovative ability, comprehensive ability, etc.At the same time, the new round of basic education curriculum reform requires course to develop in the direction of integration. Therefore, classroom teaching needs to adapt to the development trend of the new era, respond positively to the call of modern education curriculum reform, break the traditional single subject teaching, strengthen the teaching of multidisciplinary fusion. At present, there are a lot of researches on the fusion of information technology and single subject curriculum, but the research of multiple subject curriculum fusion under the support of information technology is relatively few. Because geography is a comprehensive discipline which has the nature of natural science and social science, it is closely related to other disciplines, so this paper takes the junior high school geography as the research case.This study is based on two perspectives of fusion of information technology and curriculum, multidisciplinary curriculum fusion to study multidisciplinary fusion teaching under the support of information technology. Paper uses the research idea:reviewing the literature - investigating the status - building the model - designing the case - implementing the experiment - analyzing the effect. On the basis of literature research, the author through investigation and interview, learned that most of the teachers and students like and willing to try a multidisciplinary fusion of teaching supported by information technology, but existing the lack of theoretical guidance and the shallow level of fusion and so on in the teaching organization. Then, based on the theory of information technology and curriculum fusion teaching and the multidisciplinary fusion model, this paper constructs the teaching mode of the multidisciplinary fusion supported by information technology,it includes the six teaching elements: multiple teaching objectives, compound teaching staff, information technology teaching environment, multidisciplinary teaching knowledge, multiple teaching methods,multiple teaching evaluation,chooses the PEP edition of geography teaching in the teaching of geography in the seventh chapter to carry out case study and experimental research Finally, the comprehensive evaluation and effect analysis are carried out to verify the feasibility of the model and the practical application value.Experiment based on the teaching model of multidisciplinary fusion under the support of information technology shows that this teaching method can not only stimulate students' interest in learning, but also obtain the recognition in favor of their learning. By analyzing the final test results of students, we find that the teaching method has a significant difference on students' ability to understand comprehensive knowledge.
