| In recent years,with the development of social economy,the competition has evolved into the science and technology and talent competition between countries;what’s more,talent cultivation is involved in the school education.Modern society needs the talents with innovation and exploration spirit,the traditional teaching mode obviously can’t achieve a goal,therefore,the teaching reform of each country are in full swing.Specific to the geography subject and its targets are complex,abstract and comprehensive in the geography teaching process,causing the students have difficulties in knowing,understanding and grasping.So the value of is showing up.With the development of modern technology,although the new materials are widely used,the traditional teaching aids still have the effect that cannot replace.Traditional geography teaching aids play an important role in the process of teaching,because of its intuitive.Making full use of the traditional geography teaching aids can not only develop the observation ability,practical ability,and expression ability,but also have the vital significance in solving problems.In geography teaching process,due to the high school geography knowledge is often more abstract than high school,the high school geography teachers should take full advantage of all kinds of traditional geography teaching aids,which are beneficial to arouse the enthusiasm of learning,improve the concentration,develop the students’ thinking space,and decrease the difficulty of knowledge so that can achieve the teaching goal.Therefore,it is of great significance to understand the application of the status quo in the traditional geography teaching,find out the causes and the existing problems,and put forward the reasonable suggestions.This study is based on the theory of "learning by doing",“the constructivism learning”,"and the tower of experience",analyzing the traditional teaching aids in the use of the theoretical basis of high school geography class.In order to make a research deeply,with the method of questionnaire survey,the study selected five high school teachers and students who come from He Nan province as the research object.From the perspective of students,it surveyed what’s the teachers’ attitude towards using the traditional teaching aids.From the point of view of teacher,it learned the situation of using the traditional geography teaching aids in the present five high schools.In order to find out the reasons of the existent problems,and I also selected the part of the geography teachers as the interview object.Students questionnaires,a total of 400,and ultimately recycling effective questionnaire 380,recovery rate is 95%,and teacher questionnaire,a total of 25,the final 23 recycling effective questionnaire,recovery rate is 92%.According to these questionnaire statistics and make an analysis,we can conclude the two points.Firstly,from the perspective of students,the traditional teaching aids have great impact on the high school geography class:(1)the traditional teaching aids can reduce the difficulties of geography;(2)the traditional teaching can cultivate students’ spatial ability;(3)the traditional teaching can cultivate the students’ attention;(4)the traditional teaching can deepen students’ memory.(5)the traditional teaching can arouse the students’ observation ability;(6)the traditional teaching aids can develop the students’ ability of expression;(7)traditional teaching can cultivate students’ practical operation ability.Secondly,it found some questions about using the traditional teaching aids :(1)the teachers use traditional aids type single;(2)the traditional teaching aids are inadequate;(3)the quality of the traditional teaching aids are general;(4)lack of the consciousness of using the traditional teaching aids.In order to solve the problems found in the survey,we make some effective measures:(1)take relevant measures to guarantee the improvement of the traditional teaching aids and other teaching facilities;(2)strict quality management of the traditional teaching aids;(3)improve the awareness of first-line teachers to make or buy traditional teaching aids;(4)for pre-service teachers to make training and set up some competition related to traditional teaching aids.The innovation of this study is that the selected topic and the author make an analysis from the perspective of the literature,who finds the application of traditional teaching in junior middle school geography teaching is more.However,in the process of high school geography teaching,high school students have some problems of understanding ability.Therefore,it is necessary to use the traditional materials in the high school geography teaching,which is the innovations.In short,because of its intuitive features,the traditional geography teaching aids have a good effect on the geography teaching in high school and most of the teachers and students also can learn the value of traditional teaching aids,but in the process of its application still has many problems.Under the background of new curriculum reform,the author hopes that through the traditional geography teaching aids in the application of high school geography teaching activities let more high school geography teachers recognize the benefits of using traditional teaching aids and join in using the traditional teaching aids.Only in these ways can we improve the quality of high school geography teaching,and promote the students’ ability to diversify the direction of the development,to meet the social demands for talents. |
