The medium and long term education reform and development plan of the nation call for a higher request for the training of the talent.In order to meet the challenges of the information age and the higher demands of the state for education,the core accomplishment was raised.As one of the important components of high school curriculum,history plays an irreplaceable role in the growth of high school students.History education will take more responsibility in cultivating the core literacy in history.Moreover,historical core literacy will also have a deeper requirement for history education.On one hand,history includes the splendid culture and the outstanding historical figures who show the tough and positive spirits.Furthermore,the culture and spirit of other nation are contained.On the other hand,history provides the carrier to cultivate the core literacy in history.Classroom teaching is the main field of education reform.Teacher plays a very important role in taking the core literacy in history to class.As a result,the value of history can be realized and the core literacy in history in high school can be built.It is an important mission of history educators and researchers.In this paper,on the basis of existing research,the author discusses the core literacy in history and its characteristics by combining the concepts of core literacy with history education.By methods of interview and investigation,the psychological development characteristics of high school students and the current situation of the core literacy in history can be known to the readers.Finally,the author puts forward the strategies to build the core literacy in history on the basis of show the distinctive feature of history and basic knowledge system of history.As a result,the core literacy in history can be built.
