This dissertation discusses the invisible way of imparting the traditional culture on Chinese subject in basic education in China from the perspective of linguistics and applied linguistics.We hold the opinion that,the Chinese subject education in primary and middle school equals to language education,that is,mother tongue education.However language is a carrier of culture,Chinese subject education and Chinese subject learning,develops students’ communicative capacity,language understanding and language expression,meanwhile,lodes the function of learning,understanding and inheriting traditional culture.Therefore,we call it the visible way of imparting the traditional culture on Chinese subject,which is the usual way by teaching the connotation of culture thoughts in cultural texts.On the contrary,we call it the invisible way of imparting the traditional culture on Chinese subject,which takes the language teaching as the most fundamental content of Chinese subject,which the most fundamental goal is building students’ language communicative capacity,language understanding and language expression.As language is the carrier of culture,language teaching will impart the traditional culture.Then this dissertation demonstrates the culture teaching function by the language elements teaching,based on the elements of phonetics,lexicology,grammar,pragmatics and Chinese characters.This dissertation consists of five parts:The Introduction states the necessity,the literature review,the contents of this project and research methods.Chapter 1,in the character of Chinese subject and educational objectives(function),demonstrates that the Chinese subject education is language education,which the most fundamental goal is building students’ language communicative capacity,language understanding and language expression.That is,language teaching is the invisible way of imparting the traditional culture on Chinese classes.Chapter 2 studies the invisible teaching approach of traditional culture education.Based on the elements of phonetics,lexicology,grammar,pragmatics and Chinese characters,this dissertation discusses the importance of linguistic elements education,and presents the involved traditional culture.In Chapter 3,the writer chooses“Hetang Yuese(荷塘月色)”as teaching examples,attempting to teach the traditional culture in Chinese classes with the approaches this dissertation raises,and analyze it.The writer would enumerate the research findings and shortages of this project,and raise the correct direction in the future in Conclusion. |
