Learning difficulties are the performance of learning incompetent that students have in the learning process.It is the topic that the education academia,psychology and even the medical profession,has been concerned about and researched.Learning difficulties are the common phenomenon of rural junior high school students.The students of this special group are created by the rural junior high school.Their English learning difficulties have common factors,but also have their own characteristics.This paper is based on the study of rural junior high school students.It is based on the existing research at home and abroad.It is through the use of literature analysis,questionnaires and interviews to investigate the rural junior high school students' learning difficulties.Then this paper analyzes the causes of English learning difficulties in rural junior middle school,and puts forward some specific countermeasures against the English learning difficulties in rural areas.From the investigation and analysis,we can get the following conclusions:(1)the lack of teaching conditions in rural junior middle schools and the influence of local dialects as a non-native language learning difficulties,will undoubtedly become the key points to rural junior high school students' English learning difficulties;(2)despite the teaching facilities and means of rural junior high school have changed in the recent years,the number of the teachers,the teaching skills,the local dialect language environment and some other aspects are the main reasons for the difficulty of English learning in junior high school students;(3)the difficulty of learning(Such as the basis of learning,learning ability,learning interest,learning attitude,learning motivation,etc.),learning environment and teachers can be the main reasons,and they ultimately form students' learning difficulties.Based on this analysis,the study argues that to solve the rural junior high school students' English learning difficulties need to proceed from the following aspects:(1)the creation of English teaching environment;(2)teacher teaching skills;(3)students self-improve;(4)create English teaching mode.Only in these ways can we really solve the problem of English learning difficulties in rural junior middle school students.
