| Compared with ordinary middle schools in Thailand,Thailand vocational schools have their own particularity,including the purpose of running a school,the teaching system,the purpose of learning and so on.This should arouse the attention of Chinese teachers in Thailand.In the course of teaching preparation and implementation the Chinese classes should be targeted at those vocational students in order to achieve good teaching results.Thailand Janrawee vocational school is one of the many vocational schools in Thailand.The questionnaire and interview for the school teachers and students reflect that the Thailand vocational schools have some problems in Chinese teaching,including employment orientation.This means most of the students after graduation will be provided with employment opportunities,different from other ordinary middle schools,so the students in vocational schools have no academic pressure,which can result in the weak students’ learning motivation.In addition,Thailand vocational schools are lacking unified teaching syllabus,so the selected materials do not match the actual level of students;Chinese education in Thailand mainly rely on native Chinese teaching resources,lack of local Chinese teachers.And Chinese volunteer teachers do not have much teaching experience.Based on these problems,the Chinese teaching in Thailand vocational schools should be improved from the following aspects.First,teachers should develop teaching methods innovation according to the characteristics of vocational schools and students,fully stimulating students’ Chinese learning internal motivation.At the same time,teaching materials,testing and evaluation should focus on oral communication.Second,Chinese teachers should make Chinese teaching syllabus before teaching,combining with the characteristics of the school,the professional courses and teaching content.Third,the schools themselves should pay attention to the cultivation of native Chinese teachers in Thailand.In Thailand Janrawee vocational schools Chinese teaching has its own characteristics,but as a volunteer Chinese teacher,most of them should have individualized teaching ideas,improve their teaching skills in the teaching practice in order to truly make them grow into qualified Chinese language teachers. |
